Week 11 was slightly quieter than last week, however it will get busy again next week. Don't forget we have the Loy Krathong event on Friday 15th November 2019. Also, next week is assessment week! A final reminder for the Y6 students to make sure they have finished their poem for Tuesday 12th November 2019 to submit for the poetry competition.
This week in class has been very productive. In English, the students have been finishing play scripts in preparation for making their video next week. In maths, we have looked at adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions. In CCS, we have started our new topic on mountains around the world. Finally, in Science we looked at inheritance and what features we inherit from our family.
In English today we had a great lesson called 'Kung Fu Punctuation'. The students learned Kung Fu moves that match punctuation in writing and then had to try and remember them to battle against each other. Here are some photos from this fun activity today.
