Wow, it has been another busy week in Y6. Even with the day off on Thursday there has still been lots of things happening as we get ready for Christmas.
On Monday we were visited by the author and adventurer Matt Dickinson. He spoke to the students about his books and also about his adventures climbing Mount Everest. It was great fun finding out about all the crazy things that happen during the long journey climbing the highest mountain on Earth.
In the classroom it has been RE Week. We have looked at different creation stories such as the Big Bang Theory, the story of Yin and Yang and also an Aboriginal story. The students then worked in groups to create their own project about one of these creations. Here is an example of the Yin and Yang creation story from Y6A (https://youtu.be/YrMJU6n4VYY)
