Week 5 was a busy week in Y6 as we had a variety of different activities going on in class and also out of class due to it being 'Parents Week'. For any parents who attended, we hope you had an enjoyable experience.
In English, we have been planning our biography writing about a wide range of famous people from George Washington to Kate Winslet. In Maths, we were looking at multiplication using the long multiplication method. We then used these skills to try and solve word problems and reasoning questions. In CCS, the children have been planning their own news report video about Tutankhamun, the most famous Egyptian pharaoh. On Monday, they will record them using a green screen so stayed tune for some updates about this!
A big congratulations to the girls basketball team who won their game of the season on Thursday against Ascot. Finally, well done to Nano who was the first student in Y6A to take on the 'You Are The Teacher' challenge. Her lesson was great fun! Here are some photos below.
