Dear parents and students,
Wow! This half term is going very quickly. There are only two weeks left : )
After some disruptions last week it has been a full week in Y6 for the students as we came to the end of some topics. We have finished our CCS and Science topics (Mountains and Evolution) and next week we will start our new learning journey. CCS now changes to Art and we will study a famous artist's work and recreate our own piece. In Science we're moving on to learning about all the different types of living things on Earth.
In English the students have been continuing to study aspects of a fantasy narrative through Harry Potter. Next week the students will publish their own short fantasy story before making their own stop - motion animation in the last week of term. In Maths algebra has ended and we have just started the new topic around measuring and converting different types of units.
